Banquet Facilities
Manchester Hall
Manchester Hall has a capacity of 330 guests. It features breathtaking views of the Tom Lehman – John Fought designed golf course from the windows that wrap around both the South and the West side of the ballroom. It also features a wrap around seasonal deck for use during the warmer season.
*Features – Two full service built in bars, wireless internet and T1 lines available, audio visual and accessory rentals available, and flexibility for different room set-ups.
Manchester South
1/3 of Manchester Hall that has a capacity of up to 140 people which also has access to the outdoor deck.
Manchester East & West
2/3 of Manchester Hall that has a seating capacity of up to 160 people and also features access to the deck outdoors.
Manchester East
1/4 of the Manchester Hall that has seating for up to 60 people
Manchester West
1/4 of the Manchester Hall that has seating for up to 60 people with access to the outdoor deck.
Cossington Boardroom
The Cossington Boardroom is the perfect setting for a private luncheon meeting or a dinner party for up to 16 people. This room features views of the Somerby Swimming Pool and the finishing 18th hole.
*Features –Long rectangle cherry table with electrical plug-ins, T1 connection with wireless internet available, and built in 6 foot screen for interactive presentations.
Policies & Procedures
Manchester Ballroom & Cossington Boardroom
Both the ballroom and the boardroom are open to the public for dinner functions, receptions, golf tournaments, parties, business presentations or Holiday parties. Certain food and beverage minimums do apply. Active members of Somerby, do receive a 10% discount on any food booked through the banquet department.
Billing
All other invoices are due 10 days from the receipt of statement. All accounts with a food and beverage minimum are required to pay up to the agreed minimum 10 days prior to the event.
Deposits & Contracts
Contracts must be signed & returned with the appropriate deposit to secure the date requested. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits will be applied to the final invoice.
Tax & Service Charge
All food and non – alcoholic beverages will be taxed at 6.875% and liquor at 9.375%. All hosted food and beverage are subject to a 20% service charge, which includes bartender fees, lines charges, set up, gratuities for servers & bartenders.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations fees are subject to the individual contract per event.

Guarantees
Your final guarantee is due 10 days prior to the event.
Closing
Somerby Golf Club will give last call at 1:00 AM. All guests and vendors must vacate Somerby property by 2:00 AM.
Setting up (Decorations)
The Director of Catering Sales will arrange a time for you to come in prior to the event to decorate. Certain circumstances will allow the party to come in the day before if there are no other events scheduled. Parties are responsible for setting up centerpieces, candles, place cards, special favors, mirrors, or any other decorations for weddings or special events that have been approved by the Director. No pins are allowed on the walls, or tables, nor items hung from the ceiling or chandelier. Each event will be responsible for removing decorations from the event the night of, unless special arrangements have been made through the Director.
Consumption of Alcohol
The Somerby Staff reserves the right to enforce policies on alcohol consumption and refuse service to anyone. No alcohol of any kind is allowed in by the guest, and if found will result in a fee on your final bill. All persons must have a valid picture ID to consume alcohol. If an underage person is receiving alcohol from another guest, we will ask them both to vacate Somerby property.
Linens
Linens are provided by Somerby with an array of colors to choose from to match your wedding or business colors. Certain fees may apply.
Tastings for Weddings
The Catering staff will hold 2 large sampling evenings in the Spring and in the Fall. Up to 4 people may attend the tastings. Invitations to all the brides will be mailed the month before. Most of the Catering menu will be presented these evenings for a wonderful selection to sample and finalize your wedding menu. Private tastings can be arranged with the Director of Catering Sales for $20 per person with a limit of 4 entrees to sample if you are unable to attend the large tasting.
Damages
The client is responsible for, and shall reimburse Somerby Golf Club for any damage, loss or liability incurred to the property by any of the client's guests, or organizations contracted by the client to provide services or goods before, during, and after the function. The client will be billed for any damage done to Somerby property, including broken dishes, glassware, etc., that is damaged by the client or any of the client's guests. Somerby Golf Club reserves the right to charge an appropriate damage or cleaning fee is the condition of the room after the event deems it necessary.
